假如卖家不接纳环节退还，您和卖家将进到商谈环节，而且很有可能进到诉讼期。

在接纳环节后取消

假如您进行检测期并接纳交易中的环节，则不能再取消交易。这时，交易被视作已经完成。

Cancellingatransaction

YoucancanceltheEscrowtransactionwithinyourEscrow.comaccountbeforeyouagreetothetermsandsubmitpayment.TheresaCancelbuttononthetransactiondetailsscreen.Ifyouagreetothetermsandsubmityourpayment,thenyourabilitytocancelthetransactiondependsonhowfarthetransactionhasprogressed.

Cancellingafterpaymentandbeforetheinspectionperiod

Ifyouwanttocancelthetransactionafteryousubmityourpayment,butbeforetheinspectionperiod,bothyouandthesellerhavetosendanemailtoshopify@escrow.comtoletEscrowSupportknowthatyoubothagreetocancelthetransaction.

Cancellingduringandaftertheinspectionperiod

WhenthesellertransfersthemilestonestoyouinEscrowandyoumarkthemilestonesasreceived,yourinspectionperiodbegins.Ifyoudecidenottoproceedwiththetransaction,thenyoubeginareturnprocess.Duringthisprocess,youmarkthemilestonesasrejected,andthenyoureturnthemtotheseller.Thesellermustalsoacceptthereturnofthemilestones.Iftheselleracceptsthereturnofthemilestones,thenEscrowreturnsthefundstoyou,minustheEscrowfee.EscrowdoesnotreturntheirfeebecausetheEscrowservicewasusedinsomecapacitytoprocessyourfundssecurely.

Ifthesellerdoesntacceptthereturnofmilestones,thenyouandthesellerwillenterthenegotiation,andpossiblythearbitrationperiod.

Cancellingafterthemilestonesareaccepted

Ifyoucompleteyourinspectionperiodandacceptthemilestonesinthetransaction,thenitsnotpossibletocancelthetransactionanymore.Thetransactionisconsideredtobefinalizedatthispoint.

Customerrefundrequests

Ifyoureceivearefundrequestforanorderplacedunderpreviousownership,thensomepaymentgatewayssuchasShopifyPaymentscantprocesstherefund.Ifpossible,collaboratewiththesellertoarrangearefund.Ifyoucantworkwiththesellertofindarefundsolution,thenadvisethecustomertocontacttheirbankorcreditcardissuertoinitiateadisputeorchargebacktoreceivearefund.
